The concert is open to young musicians of any instrument (including singers) from beginner level to grade 8 to perform.
"Developing Skills in Music Journalism” is a five week course taking students through different approaches to writing about music as a journalist, they will have hands on practice in writing a review of their favourite album and feature and of a live performance. The sessions will be workshop based with interactive discussion.
This course would be suitable for students with an interest in music and/or writing and don’t need any experience or to have attended the Introduction to Music Journalism course to attend this. Prior to the course commencing, students will be asked to choose a favourite album (from any genre) to review and asked to provide details of their music preferences.
Tuesdays: 5pm-6pm

For: anyone in Years 7 to 11 who is interested in music and/or writing
Course fees; £25 for the 5 week course (+ £2.80 Eventbrite fee)

Young musicians are invited to our Solo Performance Platform. Performing is fantastic way for young musicians to gain experience and develop confidence.
